Pawikan’s Long Journey

A young pawikan named Laya began her journey toward the sea. The sand felt endless, and every wave seemed farther away than the last. Other hatchlings moved faster, and Laya worried she was falling behind. Kuwago, watching from a branch, called, “Do not race someone else’s path. Find your next safe step.” Laya focused on one stretch of sand at a time. She rested when she needed to, changed direction around driftwood, and continued. At last a cool wave reached her shell. Laya discovered that perseverance was not about moving fastest. It was about continuing with purpose, adapting, and refusing to let comparison decide when to stop.
Moral Lesson
Progress is still progress even when it is slow. Keep moving with purpose.
